Matthew Linden - A/Prof

Matt is the Associate Professor of Haematology at The University of Western Australia and has interests in cytometry that span all aspects of the science. Matt has launched a new flow cytometry shared resource laboratory at RMIT University in Melbourne 2009 – 2012 and led a more established one at The University of Western Australia’s Centre for Microscopy, Characterisation and Analysis 2012 - 2015. Matt also has an interest in clinical cytometry and leads the teaching programs in laboratory haematology and clinical cytometry for students at who are training to become hospital scientists at The University of Western Australia. Matt is an ISAC Marylou Ingram Scholar and leads a program of research which uses innovative flow, image and mass cytometry to study blood platelet cell biology and develop antiplatelet strategies, which has resulted in more than 55 original journal publications - including the cover of Cytometry Part A.
 
Matt has been closely involved in the AFCG/ACS since 2012. He chaired the highly acclaimed Perth meeting in 2015, and was treasurer for the inaugural ISAC/ACS CYTO Asia meeting in Singapore in 2017.
