Shared Resource Laboratories

INTRODUCTION - SHARED RESOURCE LABORATORIES
Shared Resource Laboratories (SRL) enable the shared use of sophisticated and technically demanding instrumentation to be accessible by individual scientific groups that may not have the finance or expertise to operate individually. The ACS and ISAC are proactive in their support of SRLs to flourish and be visible as a key component of biological discovery, and make available resources and assistance for SRL staff. ISAC conduct a SRL task force, and offer opportunities for development and growth through meetings, webinars and a mentorship program - SRL Emerging Leaders, which the ACS is fortunate and honoured to have two current members, Rob Salomon and Michael Thomson.
